Advice on and Brokerage of Insurance
When brokering insurance contracts, including those for investment purposes, e.g., unit-linked life insurance, the broker becomes your contractual partner. This includes, for example, life insurance, health insurance, and others.
The broker offers advice on insurance products unless this is previously excluded by contract. Advice can also be limited to individual areas of the product lines by appropriate agreement.
In connection with advice or brokerage, remuneration can be paid either by the client, through a commission included in the insurance premium or other remuneration paid by the insurance company, or a combination of both. This depends on your wishes and needs and the specific insurance products being brokered. Any remuneration components paid by the client will be based on a remuneration agreement to be concluded in advance.
